Voyage Immense

Our courageous four-week villagers had a wonderful Voyage Immense. We entered the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness at Saganaga Lake and paddled for eight days through to Duncan Lake, speaking French the whole time! The last three days of our trip were spent doing historical research at Grand Portage (Minnesota) and Old Fort William (Thunder Bay, Ontario) before returning to our base camp in Bemidji to meet up with the two-week villagers and participate in International Day.
